CLA introduces the incoming singers and pianists for the Classic Lyric Arts 2024 summer programs: CLA France, CLA Berkshires, and CLA Italy!
This year's roster of artists is larger than ever with 71 singers and 14 pianists that come from 20 US states and 12 countries, including China, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Singapore. The 2024 CLA Artists come to each program with distinct backgrounds - sharing a common love of music and the desire to engage deeply with operatic and song repertoire.
CLA France immerses participants in the art of French singing while CLA Italy illuminates the traditions and techniques of Italian Bel canto. CLA Berkshires will continue the tradition of bringing Mozart to the mountains through a detailed exploration of this illustrious composer's operatic works. In each program, participants will develop their craft and artistry through the prism of language, culture, and history.
